SUMMER CHILDRENS' WORKSHOPS
Do you have a desire to see our Congregation grow? This summer is
your chance! This summer, Ascension will be offering free
programs/workshops/mini-camps for children of Carroll County. This will
be a great opportunity to draw in families of our community and show
them the wonder, love, and fellowship of the Ascension Church
family. Our current list of programs include: intro to
knitting/crochet, drama camp, mural camp, fun of board games, and
vacation bible school. What we need is you! Do you have any
talents or interest you would like to share? Sign
language? Music, vocal and or instrumental? Cooking? Arts and
crafts? Foreign language? Sports? Scrapbooking? Yoga? Youth bible
study? Whistling? Anything at all!
You set the
schedule, you set the age limit and class size. If you do not want to
teach, but you would like to help, you could volunteer to be an
assistant so that we have a correct child/adult ratio. All we need is
your time and desire to have our congregation grow. For more

GMH FUNDRAISER
Ghanaian Mothers’ Hope
will be holding a "Spirit of Ghana" fundraiser on Sunday, June 10 from
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Snyder’s Willowgrove in Linthicum. This event
will feature the Keur Khaleyi African Dance Company and Mercia Laryea,
Ghana advisory board member, will be in Maryland to celebrate in

Ascension is an environmentally conscious church committed to
improving the environment. As global citizens we recognize and respect
how our actions affect the lives of our members, our communities, and
ultimately our planet. And as this

shows, being a good steward can help your church!
BULLETIN
OFFERING
Parishoners are now able to give the bulletin (often
with a special cover) the same way you give flowers and bread &
wine. The cost is just $20. and it is available for the
8:00/11:15
am and 9:00 am services. A picture of the bulletin covers
through
Easter season will be on the bulletin board in the next week, along
with a sign in area for each service. Questions?

Have you wondered how to make your giving to Ascension easier,
faster, and automatic? If you bank on line you can set-up a recurring
payment to Ascension. Simply go to your bank’s website bill-pay
function, add Ascension as a payee, enter our address, and schedule the
payment. Because Ascension does not accept electronic payments your
bank will snail mail a check automatically on the schedule that you
designate. As an example you can instruct your bank to mail a check
every week, and your check will arrive at church even if you oversleep,
or are stuck in a snow bank, or away on vacation, or just plain forget.
Think of it, you’ll never fall behind on your pledge again!

venture

proving to be quite the success - attendance has grown substantially! -
and we need more hands on Saturday each month.

VOLUNTEERS
NEEDED
We are in need of additinal
sound system technicians. If you are interested in learning to run our
sound
system for Sunday services and other events, email the church office
or David Kreider.

So many of you have stepped forward to help Carroll County Food
Sunday, the 1st Sunday of each month, and also to help our adopted
family. Our adopted family
could use paper products and laundry products on a monthly basis.
